Kromschröder ZTA B Technical description

The pilot burner ZTA B is a thermo-electric atmospheric pilot burner designed for the safe ignition of gas burners. It is equipped with an integrated ignition electrode for reliable electrical ignition. This model is engineered to provide a stable pilot flame, ensuring consistent performance even under fluctuating conditions.

Application

Suitable for use with natural gas, town gas, and liquid gas (LPG). The ZTA B is widely used in residential and commercial heating systems as well as industrial kilns. It is an ideal replacement for the older Kromschröder ZT 1 MI series.

Functional description

The ZTA B functions as a standalone ignition source. When gas is supplied and the electrode is sparked, the pilot flame ignites. This flame then heats a thermocouple (not included) to hold a safety valve open or directly ignites the main burner, providing a safe startup sequence for the entire firing system.
