The Bentone oil filter ensures reliable burner operation and prevents clogged pump filters. In a new cartridge, air easily passes through the dry paper, allowing the filter to fill completely with oil. During operation under vacuum, dissolved gases may release and collect in the filter, causing the oil level in the transparent cup to drop. As the filter element becomes fouled, the oil level rises, providing a direct visual indication of the fouling degree.

System Specifications & Installation:

• Piping Systems: In a 2-pipe system, the maximum flow depends on the pump's circulation capacity. In a 1-pipe system, the nozzle capacity is the determining factor.
• Mounting: Can be suspended directly in the piping or fixed to a wall using the enclosed suspension bracket. If the oil tank is positioned higher than the burner, a shut-off cock should be installed before the filter.
• Maintenance: Replace the cartridge annually, when the operating vacuum increases by 0.4 bar compared to standstill, or when the entire filter appears dirty. Always replace the flat surface gasket during a cartridge change. Replace the O-ring between the cup and cast head when necessary.
